Leeward Islands Yacht Charter - Sample Itinerary
St. Maarten to St. Maarten: 7 Nights
Day 1: Board your yacht and have lunch
aboard. Lovely afternoon sail to ANGUILLA
along the south coast of ST. MAARTEN
across the channel and up the leeward side of ANGUILLA
to Road Bay.
Day 2: For an unforgettable day sail
from Road Bay to Prickly Pear Cays just
to the north of ANGUILLA, a perfect
spot to beachcomb and snorkel. After a late lunch aboard, a nice sunset
sail back to ANGUILLA.
Day 3: Downwind sail, gliding along
ANGUILLA’s white beaches and then
across the channel to
French ST. MARTIN anchoring in Baie
de Marigot for a delicious lunch and relaxing siesta. This delightful
capital of French ST. MARTIN is a pleasure
to visit. Enjoy a “ti-punch” at one of the charming terraces
along the waterfront.
Day 4: An exhilarating beat upwind to
the deserted island TINTAMARRE on the
northeast side of
ST. MARTIN. Swim, snorkel, explore or
simply laze on the golden sandy beach. The perfect afternoon!
Day 5: A nice reach to ST.
BARTHS. This will be the longest sail so far. Enjoy a simple
lunch while sailing and arrive in Gustavia
later in the afternoon. This bustling capital of ST.
BARTHS is a colorful and interesting French port.
Day 6: Only half an hour downwind from
Gustavia is Anse Colombier with its
beautiful beach. Snorkel, swim or hike along a trail on the north side
of the island to Anse de Flamandes and
the picturesque village St. Helene.
Day 7: Sail to ILE
FOURCHE, a secluded cactus covered island with a very protected
anchorage.
Day 8: An hour sail to St.
Philipsburg, the Capital of ST. MAARTEN.
Take a stroll along Front Street and buy your duty free souvenirs before
leaving in your taxi to the airport....until next time!
